After a scenic drive into Western Serbia, you’ll arrive in the beautiful Ovčar-Kablar Gorge, often called the Serbian Holy Mountain thanks to its historic monasteries and untouched surroundings. Here, nature creates the perfect setting for a slow and meaningful day.
The heart of the experience is meeting Vito, a local bushman who has chosen a life close to nature. Known for his warmth, humor, and cooking skills, Vito prepares traditional Serbian dishes using local ingredients and open-fire techniques. His cuisine reflects the spirit of the region — simple, rich, seasonal, and made with care.
Guests can enjoy specialties such as grilled meats, homemade bread, roasted vegetables, local cheeses, rakija, and other surprises depending on the season. Every meal is fresh, authentic, and shared in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by forest and mountain air.

Vitomir Karalić, your host from the heart of Šumadija — a man who does not fight with fire, but understands it. Guests say he is the younger brother of the god of fire.
He awaits you in Međuvršje, between Ovčar and Kablar — a place where people get hungry and forget all about dieting after the very first bend in the road.
With him, there is no fancy talk and no empty plate. Food is prepared the proper way: open flame, grill, glowing embers that do the job without philosophy. And then there are the slow-cooked, nearly forgotten dishes: veal tails, pork trotters in rich sauce, Serbian wedding cabbage stew — meals that simmer longer than the average guest plans to stay… yet somehow, in the end, they always stay longer.

We will pick you up in front of your Hotel/AirBnB with our cars and toast with homemade šljivovica.
We greet
We will drive around Western Serbia until we reach Ovčar-Kablar Gorge, where we will meet Don Vito.
We eat
We will dig into Serbian cuisine and explain why is Serbian food considered one of the bes in the world.
